Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. We are committed to ensuring the quality of your water. Our water source is ground water from three wells. The wells draw from the Sand and Gravel Aquifer. Because of the excellent quality of our water, the only treatments required are chlorine for disinfection purposes and lime for water softening purposes. Our Wells have a combined pumping capacity of 1,900 gallons per minute which is 2,736,000 gallons per day. Our combined Water Storage capacity is 1,350,000 gallons of quality drinking water. Gonzalez Utilities services 1873 residential account customers and 70 commercial account customers. We also maintain 32 miles of water main throughout our distribution system. We pride ourselves on valuing each of our customers individually.
